While the city of Cambridge is home to the world-renowned University of Cambridge, it is also a vibrant, beautiful place to live and study. Dating back over 800 years, the University has been home to some of the most respected scientists, authors and thinkers in history including John Maynard Keynes, Sir Isaac Newton, John Harvard, Lord Byron, Lord Tennison, Charles Darwin, Crick and Watson and Stephen Hawking just to name a few. Cambridge boasts of some of the finest architecture, art galleries and museums in the UK, all easily assessible in the city center. With the city of London and Stansted Airport only 45 minutes away by train, students can easily experience all London has to offer as well travel throughout Europe.
