Get to Know London
London is truly one of the world’s most vibrant and multicultural cities, considered a leading global center and an international capital of culture, music, education, fashion, politics, finance and trade. London is also home to one of the largest concentrations of universities in the world with 40 institutions of higher education with more than 400,000 students. As a city of villages, each part of London is unique with its own culture, population and feel. From the historic to the ultra-modern, London blends the past and present. While there are seemingly endless opportunities to explore its museums, galleries, theatres, restaurants and nightlife, it is also on Europe’s doorstep with fast train service and hundreds of short flights to the rest of Europe.
